#WickedWednesday: So I asked SilverHubby about #BeneathYourBeautiful

And this is what he said …

As usual, I am going off in a slightly different direction with this week’s prompt and, rather than talk to you directly, I will address our loyal reader with a challenge.

I think of Silverdrop and myself as an odd couple – Beauty and the Beast.  I am somewhat older than her and, well, my face can most kindly described as ‘homely’ and ‘lived in’.  Additionally, I have bad scarring as a result of lifesaving surgery some years back.  I walk with a stick and you will notice that I show all the signs of being in pain.  Suffice it to say, I am not eye candy.

On the inside, I am a beautiful person.  I am loving, kind, considerate, romantic,  a great communicator and give of myself freely.   I am a fun, skilled and caring lover, and am regarded as safe yet limit-exploring Dom and Top.  I like me.  I have rarely had a problem attracting partners unless they were only looking at physical appearance.

So what about you, loyal reader, can you see the beauty beneath my beast and not just the Beast that walks alongside his Beauty?  Because you might like what you find inside these walls.

About silverdrop

Silverdrop and SilverHubby are a middle aged married opposite-sex couple living in the UK. Silverdrop is gender-queer and SilverHubby is pansexual. We use this blog to talk about our sex lives (especially our fanaticism about anal and pegging), share erotic photos, and offer sex toy reviews. Our [sex isn't always great], mostly because of our health problems, but we always write honestly about it. Our kinks include BDSM, gender-play, pegging, roleplay, fantasy, and lots and lots of anal.

The heart of a person is the true person, what is on the outside is merely coverings and trappings, be they beautiful or not on the outside it is the heart of the person that matters…..

I think true beauty is underneath. My husband would tell you the same thing about himself, and I would disagree. Because he is beautiful to me.

My Dom is older than me and I suspect would also say he is ‘no eye candy’ but to me he is beautiful because of the person he is. All I ever see when I look at him is something wonderful… and so I agree, look beyond on the walls and within you will find a beauty that is often masked by the outside edges

This is such a beautiful post – it left me with a lump in my throat. Yes, I can truly say that I am able to see the beauty beneath your beast. Life has taught me to never judge a book by its cover, but to get to know the person inside, because we are all beautiful in our own ways.

    Thanks for your lovely words!

It’s not the beast’s appearance but what’s in it’s heart that matters. Sound to me like you have the part that counts already in place.

Well put!! you cannot judge a book by its cover, and I have found some beautiful people by being able to look past appearances. I’m glad that self-esteem has remained intact… that can be so hard in a world that judges what is seen!
