SinfulSunday: A Moment Frozen in Time

Observant readers will remember Molly’s(she of SinfulSunday and other infamy fame) February Photo Madness Insanity “Oh no, what can I do today by way of a pic, please make it stop!” “I loved it really.” Fest. We had just finished a shoot where I got 3-4 images that I used for the Fest.

I told Silverdrop we were done and she relaxed. I put the tripod away and turned back to see her seemingly completely relaxed, staring out of the window. I had one chance and got this shot. Silverdrop is beautiful. I flatter myself that I have captured that in this pic.

I’d had the camera in manual focus mode for the previous shot and tried deliberately to focus on the structure of the net curtains, leaving my love in soft focus. The bright winter sunlight meant I got her in almost perfect silhouette.

A beautiful shot of a beautiful woman. I love seeing your pictures and reading the stories behind them. Very special.
